Artist from Rouen Isabelle Zéo defines herself as a sculptor-glassworker. It is true that glasswork is on the increase and stands out from other visual arts
by introducing to it an essential element: light. The artist multiplies and transforms the impact made by light through her technique and the original and
colourful formal design of her creations. Taught by a referent in the field, Denis Goudenhooft, in whose studio in Martot she has exhibited, Isabelle Zéo
joined the association "Eclats de verre en Bresle", where she met 27 glassworkers including artists of pure talent such as Murielle Vissault. The prestigious
circle welcomes her works fashioned from curved glass sheets, whose colours, light and original graphic designs incontestably define her. What is surprising and
attractive in Isabelle Zéo's work is the enveloping and reassuring softness of the harmonious coils of solid glass sheets, as well as their pure transparency,
which the artist couples with sumptuous and elegant motifs. And these compliment the curves and sculpture-like lines with their captivatingly delicate and dynamic reliefs.
