There is something eternal in Dekeyser's sculptures, something indefinable that seduces us and shows us the way to a reflection on the human being. Each of these women that the artist offers us to contemplate goes far beyond the simple anecdotal or descriptive. There is also everything that we do not see and that we feel, everything that is not said and that we hear. A certain simplicity, a light that "clings" tenaciously to the paradoxically angular curves, a patina that dresses the forms of the models, everything is there to passionately create a kind of new mythology dedicated to women in all their states, from the dreamy young girl to the mother, from the shameless schoolgirl to the passionate embrace.
